Company History and Background

Founded: 1996

Sentav is a family owned and operated egg production poultry farm. The farm was “hatched” in 1968 by Kemal Sensozlu. Originally a master shoemaker, he built the farm up from the scratch and operated it successfully for 26 years. Sentav is now run by Kemal’s son Mevlut Sensozlu. In the beginning the focus of operation was producing egg laying chicks, but since 1996 Sentav Poultry has been focusing solely on producing farm fresh table eggs. In, 2009 extensive renovations and remodelling were made to the Hatunsaray, Konya facility, and Sentav is now operating on its 40.000 square meters modern farm with aproximately 300.000 hens, producing 280.000 eggs daily. Members of the Sensozlu family are still involved in all aspects of the operation, reflecting their deep rooted family values to the business. We work closely with our 35 farm employees to provide our customers with the highest quality whole shell, farm fresh eggs available.
