With Thailand having recently introduced a minimum wage and Goodada soon to offer inspection services from these countries. I thought that it was time to take a look into the average wages for each of the countries in South East Asia and also give a little update on the situation of the country and identify the main products that each country is known for.

Current Situation
Thailand is having its usual political rallies at the moment. But by and large they remain relatively civil. Don’t forget that the most stabilizing influence is the King. If anything happens him, then things could become difficult.

Current Situation

Current Situation
Indonesia remains politically clam and stable. It is one of the fastest growing economies. It has one of the biggest populations of over 200 million. However there have been general strikes on wages.

Vietnam
Current Situation
Vietnam is stable politically. The country is suffering more than most in SE Asia from the recession and a lot of factories have closed down. It is a country with tremendous opportunities. Infact there are a lot of Asia countries such as China using Vietnam as a low cost producer of products.

Malaysia
Current Situation
Malaysia is the ethnic melting pot of South East Asia. It is a truly mixed population of 28 million people. It is politically stable and does not have any major civil unrest of note. There is some grievances in the Malay Borneo part and possible somewhere down the line it may break away from the Malaysia Federation.
